From the latest collection of cufflinks in the colours of each of Lester Piggott's nine Derby winners. In 1977 The Minstrel became Lester's eighth Derby winner. Third in the 2,000 Guineas, then second in the Irish Guineas - The Minstrel, owned by Robert Sangster and trained by Vincent O'Brien, had been beaten in his two most important races. There were doubts about running at Epsom but Lester persuaded both owner and trainer to have a go. The Minstrel, superbly ridden, won by a neck from Hot Grove. 'No horse I ever rode showed more unflinching courage in a finish than The Minstrel did that day.'

The Minstrel's owner's colours are set in 2.5mm thick nickel-plated ovals and supplied in a smart presentation box. The perfect Christmas present.
