Processing time is currently 1-2 working days from completion of your order. Orders containing in-stock products received before 12 noon, Monday to Friday, will be processed and dispatched on the same day. Orders containing in-stock products received after 12 noon, Monday to Friday, will be dispatched the next working day. All orders are fulfilled by Royal Mail.
Orders that contain pre-order products will be shipped separately at no extra cost to our customers. In-stock products will be shipped in line with our delivery terms above. Pre-order products will be shipped on their individual release date, which is shown on the product page and directly underneath the ‘Pre-order’ button prior to purchase. You may receive shipping notifications for orders that contain pre-order products, but these notifications are only applicable to the in-stock items on the order. For any help or support, please contact us at shop@racingpost.com.
If you live outside the UK and wish to purchase both pre-order products and items that are currently in stock, please ensure that you place separate orders. Due to international shipping regulations, we are unable to split a single order for shipment to customers outside the UK. If multiple products in one international order have different release dates, the entire order will only be shipped once all products are available and ready for release. This ensures that all items are sent together in a single shipment.
Following recent EU regulatory reforms, how your delivery is handled depends entirely on your destination country. For all orders under €150, please see the specific country guidance below:
For the majority of EU destinations, we offer a fully duty-paid delivery service. The EU charges a flat €3 customs duty on every unique type of product (classified by its customs HS tariff code) within a parcel.
Based on our store analytics, our average European order contains 2 unique product types (for example, a book and a calendar). Therefore, we include a transparent flat surcharge of €6.00 within our shipping rates to pre-collect this duty at checkout. All relevant import VAT is also calculated at checkout. No additional charges will apply upon delivery.
This seamless service applies strictly to the following countries:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, and The Republic of Ireland.
Due to international postal network limitations, we are unable to pre-collect duties at checkout for a small number of countries. Orders shipped to the destinations listed below are sent Delivery Duty Unpaid (DAP).
For these countries, our shipping fee at checkout covers transit only. Because we cannot pre-pay the duty on your behalf, we do not add the €6.00 surcharge to these rates. Instead, the customer will be responsible for paying local import VAT, the flat €3 EU customs duty per product type, and any local postal handling/clearance fees directly to their national postal operator before the parcel can be delivered:
Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, and Romania.
This breakdown makes it incredibly clear to the consumer that they aren't paying an arbitrary premium, but a direct reflection of the new EU customs rules.
For shipments to the United States, an additional 10% tariff surcharge will be included in your order during checkout to cover US import duties and taxes. This charge is calculated automatically at checkout. The customer is also responsible for any additional customs duties, taxes, or handling fees that may apply once the goods arrive in the US. These charges are beyond our control and must be paid directly to US customs authorities. Please allow additional time for US shipments, as customs processing may take longer due to tariff clearance.
Italian customs apply a €2 administrative handling fee on low-value parcels (under €150) arriving from outside the EU. This fee is set by Italian authorities and is collected by the local postal service at delivery.
France applies an import processing charge (TPC) on low-value parcels (under €150). To keep delivery smooth and avoid any additional fees on arrival, we include this charge directly within our shipping cost for French orders. This means no unexpected charges at delivery and all costs are shown clearly at checkout. We do not profit from this fee; it simply covers the fixed cost applied to shipments entering France.
Shipping charges to the EU and other international destinations are calculated according to current Royal Mail international rates. These fees are automatically calculated during checkout based on the weight, size, and destination of your order.
